Why Choose Us?

In this digital photography age it's never been easier to take professional looking photos. So many people do photography that you can find decent photographers pretty much everywhere, which is great! The downside is that it's harder to choose who to hire since you have so many options, and the whole process can quickly become overwhelming. So here's what we're about, and hopefully that will make the decision a little easier for you.

At Lindsay Rose Photography, our goal is to create artwork for your home. We value a friendly and fun experience for our clients, and displaying your images is part of that experience. Whether on your wall in a beautiful heirloom frame, on your coffee table in a hand-wrapped linen album or as a statement gallery canvas above your couch, we believe images that can be held move us in ways that screen viewing simply can't.

That's why we love to help you choose how to present the images in your home in a way that best suits you. We offer a variety of products ranging from modern and minimal to timeless heirloom. Whatever your style, the pieces will become some of your most beloved possessions. Promise!

We can't wait to hear from you!

Newborn- Sawyer

My maternity leave is officially over, and what better way to get back in the swing of things than with a sweet newborn session! I had the pleasure of photographing Sawyer and his sister Gretchen this week! Give me all the babies. ;)

Zac & Bri: Fall Engagement

I can't believe I am writing this but... my little sister Brianne is engaged! She moved to Texas a couple years ago and met a wonderful man named Zac, and I have to say he is a keeper. I was honored to take their engagement photos this fall! I won't be capturing their wedding in May since I will be in it (!!!) so I took full advantage of the beautiful light and their photogenic faces while I had the chance. Here are some of my favorites from their session.

Cooper Family

How do I describe a family like the Coopers? Fun, bright, lighthearted, and most of all, happy! It was such a pleasure capturing their moments during the most beautiful time of the year.

Dempsey Family

What a perfect autumn day for a family session with the Dempsey's! The fall colors were at their peak, the sun was shining, and everyone was so full of energy. I loved capturing these memories for them!

Fall In Love: Ben & Nichole

Last week I had the privilege to do a lifestyle session with my dear friends Ben and Nichole. The sun came out at all the right times and the weather was fantastic! It really was the perfect day. I am convinced that Michigan Octobers really are the best thing ever.

Much love,

I'm Lindsay, the owner and photographer behind Lindsay Rose Photography. I love all kinds of art and creativity and spent the first decade of my career in the Cosmetology industry.

After the birth of my second son, I took some time off work to be with my boys and realized during that time that I had a passion for photography. I love everything about it, from prop and location scouting to shooting and editing and of course getting to know more people! I am so inspired by people and their stories and it is my joy and honor to capture moments that tell those stories through creative imagery. I've also learned that waterproof mascara is a must when photographing weddings. Hah!

Behind the scenes I am a wife to the most wonderful man, Dave, and mom to the three cutest boys I ever saw. We live in a small town just outside of Grand Rapids, and we love to travel whenever we get the chance.

When I'm not wife-ing and mom-ing I enjoy period films, reading, laughing, flexing my creative muscles, coffee, pedicures, long walks, big earrings and so much more. I believe in enjoying all of life's little pleasures. If you would love to work with me, hop on over to "Request A Session" and give a call or send an email. I'd love to hear from you!

Julian Turns Two!

This here is my sweet little boy who just turned TWO! I can't even believe it. The time really does go so fast. I want to remember this age, because it is my absolute favorite. Terrible twos says who? I think they are delightful! Still squishy, learning to talk, fierce about becoming independent but still so innocent its hard to even get mad. And some of the things they say- hilarious, oh my gosh. I really need to keep a journal for each child just to jot down the funny things they say.

Here is to a wonderful year of being two!

Baby Easton

My beautiful friend Amy had her baby Easton a few months ago, and I was eager to capture his sweet little face. You see, Amy and her husband Jon have these ultra-mega-genes that make impossibly cute, squishy babies. In fact... well, why don't you just see for yourself?

So much love!
